Job Summary

The Branch Manager, Business Development, oversees branch operations, ensures the achievement of targets, and drives business growth within the assigned region. This role involves managing staff, maintaining client relationships, and representing the organization in local markets.

Responsibilities

1. Branch Operations Management

  • Oversee day-to-day branch operations and ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Maintain a well-organized and customer-friendly environment.

2. Sales Target Achievement

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed branch targets.
  • Monitor and report on branch performance metrics.

3. Team Supervision

  • Lead, coach, and motivate branch business development staff to perform at their best.
  • Conduct performance reviews and recommend staff development programs.

4. Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients in the region.
  • Resolve client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.

5. Market Representation

  • Represent the organization in local business communities and industry events.
  • Identify local market trends and opportunities.

6. General Assignment

  • Execute any other duties and tasks that may be designated or assigned by the Company.
  • Participate in the knowledge sharing programme of the department and the company
  • To provide support to the Chief Business Development Officer as may be required towards serving the Board, Management and staff.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Analytical skills to assess market opportunities and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

KPIs and Performance Metrics

  1. Sales Growth: Percentage increase in branch sales revenue.
  2. Client Retention: Percentage of clients retained and repeat business generated.
  3. Staff Productivity: Achievement of individual and team sales targets.
  4. Operational Efficiency: Reduced turnaround times and improved service delivery.
  5. Market Presence: Number of new customers acquired within the branch territory.
