Job Summary
The Senior Business Development, manages a business development team, drives team performance, and ensures the achievement of assigned sales targets. The role involves planning, coaching, and coordinating activities while fostering a culture of high performance.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Supervise and motivate a team of sales professionals.
- Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Sales Planning
- Develop and execute team sales plans to meet targets.
- Allocate tasks and territories among team members.
Performance Monitoring
- Track and report individual and team performance metrics.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.
Customer Engagement
- Support team members in client meetings and negotiations.
- Ensure excellent customer service and issue resolution.
Market Research
- Identify trends and opportunities within the target market.
- Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
General Assignment
- Execute any other duties and tasks that may be designated or assigned by the Company.
- Participate in the knowledge sharing programme of the department and the company
- To provide supports to the Branch Manager and Chief Business Development officer as may be required towards serving the Board, Management and staff.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or related fields.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, with team management responsibilities.
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
