Job Summary

The Senior Business Development, manages a business development team, drives team performance, and ensures the achievement of assigned sales targets. The role involves planning, coaching, and coordinating activities while fostering a culture of high performance.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and motivate a team of sales professionals.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge.

Sales Planning

  • Develop and execute team sales plans to meet targets.
  • Allocate tasks and territories among team members.

Performance Monitoring

  • Track and report individual and team performance metrics.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to team members.

Customer Engagement

  • Support team members in client meetings and negotiations.
  • Ensure excellent customer service and issue resolution.

Market Research

  • Identify trends and opportunities within the target market.
  • Provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.

General Assignment

  • Execute any other duties and tasks that may be designated or assigned by the Company.
  • Participate in the knowledge sharing programme of the department and the company
  • To provide supports to the Branch Manager and Chief Business Development officer as may be required towards serving the Board, Management and staff.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, or related fields.
  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, with team management responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Proficiency in sales reporting tools and CRM systems.
